The Personal Side

My main interest and hobby has always been cars, oval motor racing, motorcycles.

At a young age I raced karts, racing Cadets and Junior TKM winning the Hunts Kart Racing Club (HKRC - Kimbolton) Junior TKM Championship.

After racing I acted as a 'Marshal'  at Kimbolton, and quickly moved up to become an 'Observer'.  I was recommended and backed by the club to become an 'MSA National B Clerk of the Course' for several years.

In college I studied Performing Arts, specialising in stage design and stage management.

After college I took a year out to travel across America. At the age of 16, alone, I flew to San Francisco, travelled from coast to coast, flying home from New York three months later. On returning to the UK I declined a place at a London drama school to follow my main passion, motor racing.

This career decision resulted in me obtaining experience as an on track high performance driving instructor and as the Championship Coordinator for ASCAR, the oval based racing series at Rockingham Motor Speedway.  More recently I was employed as a Service Advisor in prestige motor manufacturer dealerships.

In 2006, I was married to my long-term girlfriend Sarah and this was followed by the birth of our first daughter, Kirsten. In 2011 our second daughter, Callie was born.

I have recently rediscovered the world of motorbikes and am the owner of a Sinnis Cafe 125 which I have turned into a Street Tracker / Brat style bike. Along with this goes a new found interest in American style motorcycle Flat Track racing.

I hold full car and motorcycle licences.

Thank you for your time and consideration.
